A Collaborative Approach to Complex Legal Problems

After decades of government, private practice, and in-house experience, Teresa Meadows founded Meadows Law with a single goal: to work collaboratively with our clients to solve complex legal problems arising in a few key areas of practice - environmental, aboriginal, and administrative law.

She began her career in the environmental sphere when she joined Alberta Environment in 1982 and has worked for more than two decades as a lawyer in private practice and as in-house counsel with an international consulting firm. She has a Bachelor of Education and a Juris Doctor, both from the University of Calgary.

Dedicated to Environmental Law for Over 25 Years

Over the course of a very non-traditional practice, Teresa has worked on files that significantly impacted communities, legislation, and the lives of individuals across Canada.

Learning has been a constant source of inspiration and drive in my practice.
